dandiya nite!!

the grand finale..a fitting culmination to the cultural week..creations '06..a brilliant week of fun n games..hehe..hats off to the scc!!..n whoever came up with the whole theme idea..pure genius!!..the mess was like entertainment central every night..all those events..singing..dancing..mad-adz..the awwwwsumm mimicry..pola n arnav rocked!!!..truly..n with me having fam law moot the next day..n that too with arnav only as opposing counsel!!..thank god i didnt laugh outright at monos "ok pliz"..hehe..but seriously..guess even zafeer wasnt as funny as those two (n he is funny believe me..a total cartoon..dunno why he didnt go with his trademark shasthri gig tho..)..they brought the house down..really they did..the whole univ was in uproar!!..unbelievable..

anyway..so dandiya nite..held in the mess this time..n surprisingly on a friday..n even more surprisingly..free!!..hehe..guess not many were all that interested tho..n after being up fr 24 hrs making a damn memo, neither was i..as in..who would wanna spend hours getting ready..that too in ethnic!!..n dancing when i was already tired enough to drop dead??..no waaayyy..in fact..till about 8.30 last nite..i was totally sure i wouldnt be going..even mads, ghosty n all were not too keen on it..but then wham bam!!..dunno what hit everyone..n amazingly suddenly i found that i was in fact going!!..really this was the most impromptu party iv ever gone to..the mad rush to get ready!!..n god! the pain of accessorizing!!!!..hehe..n then again half the population doesnt know how to wear a sari..not to forget our dear darling ananya whos affair with the mirror will go down in history most likely..hehe..was nothing short of a miracle that we even reached the mess by 10.00..hehe..but not late tho..not by a loooong shot..the "show" went on till 1.00 am!!..we toh were back by midnight..by which time i really was almost dead..n damned inconvenient dancing in the sari..actually dancing western in the sari..n with a digicam hanging from the wrist no less!! :D ..speaking of cams..yesterday was like a photoshoot out there..god knows how many pics i took..mostly posed..n sum candid shots..it was like click-click-click snap-snap-snap..anyway managed to have loads of fun..n a lott of dancing..hehe..soooo..dandiya was great..tho we didnt really end up dancing much dandiya..managing those dandiya sticks on top of everything else..n protecting fingers from getting amputated as well..hehe..no mean feat..

so well..i had this ridiculous urge to get sloshed last nite..(guess what..turns out deeksha did get totally hammered..hehe)..but i like the good lil girl i am settled for rum balls instead..my current fetish it seems..cant seem to get enough of 'em..taaassttyyyy..well getting late..thinking of catching a movie before "embracing the blessed oblivion of dreamland"..
